I initially felt a little surprised by the insane level of versatility in this album (as opposed to something more cohesive like Demon Days) BUT after letting myself get comfortable with it, I do think this is a masterful album with a lot of great songs. I enjoy it just as much as the other albums and still listen to it often. I think if you can get used to the idea that this album is more like a star with a lot of different points shooting off from the center, than like a ball where it's all tightly centralized, you can enjoy it for what it is. "Ascension" and "Out of Body" remain two of my very favorite Gorillaz songs.
