The series is great for hobbyist fans as opposed to the die hard formula 1 fan base. I think season 3 was really well done with the Jeangros and Perez stories in particular.
A little shocking ( or maybe not, coming from Netflix) that the Lewis Hamilton story has less to do with him dominating the sport and achieving yet another championship and more to do with the color of his skin. The funny thing is, I think, he’s the least likable in the sport due to his propensity to cause arrogant penalties- but he’s so talented there’s no denying his greatness... so it begs the question ... how dumb is Netflix for focusing on his blackness as opposed to what is a more interesting story: the love him or hate him theme in F1s best driver in decades; similar to what has enthralled fans in other sports narratives with such legendary athletes like MJ, Brady, Djokovic, etc
