I'm always worried about watching remakes, because of how they butcher it with a flat storyline, poor acting, and woke ideologies. All around it was a great movie if you're storm nut like my wife and I. Good storyline and special effects. It felt good to go to movie theatre and watch a movie that was just a good story and not be bombarded with ideologies and political agendas. In my bias opinion though... it doesn't beat Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt.
