From excerpts I see very little, if any, cited facts and is more an opinion/ fictional book. There may be truths but it seems, overall, a book written from Mary’s perspective. You know, hearsay. I only put 1 star otherwise I was unable to post my review. In reality I give it zero stars.

Bet it’s backed by BML Seems intent is not to teach but to incite more racial division and violence!! Believe airing the original movie (not remake of) ‘Roots, would do more to educate and draw empathy on all sides. That it is a truer depiction and could be more beneficial in enlightening all races who seek to be and bring us together. Antebellum seems to have an ominous agenda to continue tearing races apart! Had to put a star up to post this. 😡 Zero stars from me!
