some of the casting was good but some was also just plain bad. the plot was supposed to be a faithful take on the games and i'll give them credit parts of the film were but most was not. the plot wasnt explained properly and felt like half a story for example when Leon, Chief Irons and Claire leave the RPD building and say there heading to the mountains but go the orphanage instead then are just magically with Jill and Chris when it feels necessary for them to be no reason behind how they got there they just did. at the end of the film there is kind of a mission log on screen and it mentions nest now i know what that is becasue of the games and past films, but the movie doesnt explain it at all that is the only time nest is mentioned and it was just text on screen. this movie isnt unwatchable just something i would choose not too.
