Jay “Judgemental Dredd” Smith

What a stinker. I love Korean films. I liked ALL of the Cube films. So when I saw there was a Korean remake of the Cube film I thought “there’s no way this can fail!” But boy was I wrong. Especially comparing this to the original Cube film. I’m pretty sure the run time on this is longer and there are fewer characters yet very little in the way of character development. The special effects are pretty bad. The ending makes no sense. I don’t want to give anything away but (VAGUE SPOILER) two characters make it to the exit so why do they show one walking towards the exit while the other stays lingering in the hatch exit watching the other proudly? Get the heck out! Also there was the typical Asian film trope of people standing around impotently instead of reacting as people would in real life? To me, that’s not dramatic. It’s frustrating.

I liked this. You definitely didn’t know where this film was going. The kept it suspenseful and you never really knew if the antagonist was supernatural, or “real”.

A complete waste of time. Unlike previous Cohen brother movies, this film has little in the way of humor. The characters aren’t memorable. An overall waste of time.

D-mn good film! Ignore the handful of bad reviews. This movie has more than one completely unexpected twist that were surprising but also believable. It also had a very nail biting and satisfying ending. Very happy I stumbled upon this film. Five stars!

Yet another movie sequel that is founded on the nostalgia for the original film yet doesn’t focus on the characters that made the first movie something wonderful.

Every single leaked piece of info on this show is true. Kevin Smith straight up lied to everyone. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and it was sad to see that this is, in fact, the Teela Show. If you enjoy He-Man, savor the five minutes he’s in episode 1, because he won’t be back.

The first film was absolutely amazing. This film is complete garbage. What a letdown.

A fun movie. There was a twist ( though I guessed it before it was revealed), then an explanation for the twist, which though unbelievable, was too outlandish explaining the plot. Then one more twist near the end. All the performances were great.

Did you know Lilly is not only a POC, but that she is ALSO bisexual? No? Well wait five minutes, because she’ll mention it like she does every single night. Wonderful show if you love cringe and terrible “jokes”.

A fun and memorable black comedy. Don’t know what all the “controversy” was about leading up to this films release. I’m tired of people judging a film before they see it. But unfortunately that’s how it is now. Betty Gilpin was great. She’s a wonderful actress who can do drama, comedy as well as action.
