Literal abomination. I went into this movie with my expectations at its lowest. Pretty much everything is terrible. The acting is mediocre at best, has no real sensible plot line and jumps straight into the scenes with the sexual tension, even though there isn't much leading up to it for it to actually be interesting or exciting. Tried to do the whole 'enemies to lover', 'forbidden love' and 'siblings to lovers' trope and failed at all of them miserably. The male protagonist is ABUSIVE, sends mixed signals and is BIPOLAR. SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUES to be dealt with yet it is romanticized and seen as romantic somehow?! Keeps shoving the girl away but then pulls her back in, CONSTANTLY contradicting himself. NOTHING made sense about his actions (and generally the entire story). And the girl - believes that they have some kind of connection and KEEPS GOING BACK FOR MORE! Just for the guy to mess with her head. Music is terrible, the charactors feel robotic, show no emotion, and most of them have 0 personality. The only good thing was the casting - they remarkably matched the younger and older selves to one another. Other than that, please don't waste your time.
