A embarrassingly pitiful attempt at comedy. How did this series ever make it beyond the concept stage ? The series is unwatchable. The script is facile, unimaginative and uninspiring, which is a shame given the rich seam this subject matter presents. The short episodes comprise but a series of sequential hollow skits that could apply to any context and fails to create a narrative or develop and evolving understanding of the characters. Themes ordinarily ripe for comedic exploitation in a policing context have not been identified or pursued, which is a great shame. Let’s hope another production company has a stab at this in the future.
