Everything I read before watching this made me think that sex, drugs and a cult like atmosphere was rampant in The Villages. The film basically focused on 3 individuals and their experiences rather than a mass belief that there was a problem there. I have been there many times and never have I witnessed anything but people enjoying their retirement. I find that if there was a concern about the lifestyle, the film only concentrated on 3 relationships or individuals and not a community problem. In my opinion if there was a real problem, it was not reflected in the documentary. I saw a huge community enjoying their golden years.
