This film seemed to have something going for it with a promising beginning. The audience is then subjected to this separation of the Eternals and a low point in filmmaking. The Bollywood segment is not funny, and frankly awkward. For some reason this attempt at humor continues, as if desperately contrived. Anyone in show-business knows; a person who is not funny shouldn't attempt comedy (someone please tell me why this filmmaker guy is suddenly tagging along with the Eternals). I can't help but feel that the attempts at comedy were oddly overdone. One thing I cannot tolerate is when a film with potential falls apart in certain areas. Another stand out is the changes in time having no cohesion. Almost like TMI (compared to the fun time jumps in Endgame for instance). I must mention as a side note, an anomaly occurring in filmmaking now is this new Inclusiveness form of delivery. A motion picture will lose its center if everyone is trying to be appeased. All said and done, considering the misteps of the first half, the second half of the film really pulls itself together and is enjoyable to watch. The Eternals has some good qualities, and some brief emotional highs. But the movie has an unbalanced feel to it, mostly getting it together at the end.
