belle (suzu) looks absolutely gorgeous ⁉️⁉️, i love the animation and the composed music and powerful vocals of belle. it definitely gave me goosebumps while hearing it , lyrics bring so much meaning and it’s quite relatable in my opinion. reason why i didn’t cry and feel as much emotion to the rest of the story apart from the vocals were because of how confusing the plot is ? i did understand what the director was trying to get by and there’s wonderful character development by how she discarded her facade as “belle” her character she created which was “perfect”. i disliked how the beast was a child who was abused by a father because the situation was tied up really badly in the end and i don’t think there was a proper resolution for the two brothers. the whole abusing situation seemed a bit abrupt because the father chickened out? but in reality, i don’t think that’s how abusers act? because all belle did was stare at the abuser and he just left like that?? like i didn’t really get that part. because of the fact that belle has a crush on shinobu, i really thought the beast was him. of course the plot twist was quite surprising but i didn’t like how the whole movie ended. seems very rushed. but we all have our own opinions right? there are definitely scenes which are heart wrenching but i didn’t feel that it was really that emotional to cry about especially when suze was the one being selfish to her father and ignoring him when he probably also feels the pain of the lost of his wife. definitely can be improved but vocals are amazing and i’m addicted ✌🏻✌🏻
