I remember way back when when I first played the original Diablo. What a great experience. It was simple, it worked! Never played the second one but I remember playing the third installment on my PS3 and liking it much more than others apparently, so I was really looking forward to this release. Wow is this game lacking. It does feel like par for the course given how our world is literally on fire right now and companies took all that time they were given to develop during the pandemic to ooze out some horrible, not even half realized game like this. It reminds me of Pokémon go (initial release) in that glitches just happened all the time and you’re paying for the privilege to do so. I mean is it just me or does anyone else find it incredibly bizarre that the game just crashes unexpectedly and you have to re-tread the map like our precious time on this planet is completely invaluable to the developer. We are paying for this abysmal experience and from what I’m reading the developers are completely ignoring & gaslighting the issues. Wow!!! I also played with the druid. I did no research ahead of time on any forums or anywhere prior to playing this game. Simply thought the druid looked really cool and I thought the experience would commensurate. Anyone who is reading this is likely laughing. I was level 19 on the first major boss & my damage counted for nothing. This isn’t dark souls, this is Diablo. The experience fuel so far removed from any other Diablo game that I have ever played, that I immediately deleted my character, took the disk put it back in the plastic sleeve and ninja star through it down my hallway until it crashed against a far wall. I don’t even know what potential people are talking about. This game sucks. It is a reflection of our current hollow society, but that’s no excuse for such a horrible experience. I’ll check back in, in a year, but otherwise I am done with blizzard forever
