I was a bit disappointed. I loved the humor in the original one. Especially with Whoopi and the hyenas. This version is very dark and lacks much of the comedy of the original. It’s practically a sad story all throughout. I guess I miss the rollercoaster of emotions. I just found myself sitting there.
