This picture intriguingly puts you into the mind of a person descending into dementia. Somehow we get to see what he sees, and the extreme internal confusion that results from the loss of his grip on reality. Anthony Hopkins is a master, unequaled in character portrayal and facial nuance, perfect for this role. The other actors are superb. Because of the great sense of compassion that welled up within me as I watched, I will remember this haunting film for a long time.
