SPOILER ALERT 🚨 The only reason I gave this movie 1 stars is because of the feeling of nostalgia I got when we were transported back to Hogwarts and Hogsmead. The music was enjoyable and the CGI was amazing but other than that the story was incredibly boring. I was debating whether or not I should just leave the theatre halfway and not go back. Jude Law wasn’t a good Dumbledore. He lacked character and he was changing accents many times during the movie. And I did not enjoy Mads performance as Grindelwald. The way they explained Ariana’s death was completely different than the way it was written in the Harry Potter books. And it was never mentioned that Aberforth had a son. I was expecting more secrets but they hardly showed any of Dumbledore’s secret except for the part that he was gay and in love with Grindelwald. I also did not understand why Jacob and Eulalie had to use a Portkey to travel the Floo Network. Looks like Rowling has forgotten her own rules she set up in the movies/books. It was very slow paced and it added nothing new. Lack of inspiration. Very very disappointed. Do not waste your time and money on this movie.
