I tried really hard to love this show. Great setting, entertaining characters, the Florida ridiculousness. The story line is just so tired, not sure how people can rave about this show. With tears in my eyes I will say… the Outer Banks is a better gold hunting mystery than Florida Man.

Decently entertaining. Better than most of Netflix movies.

Another racially charged show offering not much besides attempted division. Unless anger feeds you, skip it.

The story seemed interesting from the outset, however it is not. HBO should have embellished; there are no twists, and no turns. Just a long drawn out series of nothingness. I guess if you already filmed it you might as well release it. Definitely skip this one.

Kate Winslet’s “Philly” accent drives me nuts. Sounds ridiculous being from there. Otherwise pretty accurate immersion into the culture.

Season 9 is the most politically charged yet! I just want to escape my day and watch a show that was once funny. I’m not sure how the writers of this show can live every day of their lives with so much resentment. I can’t watch anything without being beaten over the head with propaganda.

The first season had an amazing storyline, this season I was on my phone half the time. Reminds of There Will Be Blood, long drawn out scenes yet amazing cinematography and acting. Not what I got excited for when I heard the second season came out.
