The storyline is a familiar one, from out of the blue, someone's normal life is thrown into utter chaos, the mysterious and dangerous characters, the main characters life is in danger, ... The acting is solid so far, but there are implausible holes in this story's plot. With that said, it's still worthy of following to the end.

Having been born and raised in the segregated South, watching Them left me feeling deeply upset and saddened because it reminded me of what's it's like living among people who feel superior based on having white skin. Some viewers felt the portrayals were gratuitous even filled with exaggerations, I'm gonna guess those viewers never shared the life experiences like so many black families did during those times? I was angry a lot, I was dispirited a lot, I felt depressed a lot, because it brought back traumatic memories!
