The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a light hearted, magical adventure filled to the brim with stunning visuals and references to the games of which it's based on. I noticed dozens of small details which really made me think of the source material over and over, without feeling out of place. The music amazingly incorporated themes from the original soundtracks which left me wanting more! Overall a fun movie for a general audience and a true homage to Mario fans of all ages.
