I was surprised that this was not a campy or gory movie. It comes off as a historical war movie. The actors play it straight and serious. The guy playing Lincoln is Superb! There are attempts at back stories and sub plots for some characters which is unusual for a zombie flick. I didn't give it 5 stars just because it's not edge-of-your-seat riveting and there were some silly cheap fake beards and mustaches that kind of ruined the suspension of disbelief, but it did keep me moderately interested through to the end. So if you like war/historical movies with a little sci-fi, I think you'll enjoy it. I do recommend it. Note: I saw this as an edited version on tv.
