Aw man, who besides me is so sad that the Matrix 4 is a sad sad bust? This is my share and thoughts on a few character things. Let me just say, that I wanted this movie to be awesome possum. I was full on rooting tooting for Keanu, Trinity and the crew...but then Morpheus was a no-show and then Gen Jada Pinkett Smith showed but maybe shouldn't have... First of all, sorry to say but seriously what a distraction and pointless character she was in this one. I was more interested in figuring out what the deal was with her left eye and that scar on her face. In HD you see her biz and its just annoying. And that old lady hunchback limpy walk she carried on with was a lame character add. My mom at that age is a lot more active and healthy looking. What I'm saying is that Wachoski should have aged her well and not made her creepy and somewhat immobile. I wanted her to walk and talk faster the whole time. Not very empowering to watch her. It didn't help her character in relevance to the movie...I think. Also, I'm a fan of Priyanka esp. In Pitbull's music videos but again in this movie and in HD, I totally couldn't focus on anything but her nostril sizes being so different. What was with the upshots or close ups that forced me to focus on that? I didn't want to and i couldnt help it and you wont be able to not watch itvand analyze that larger left nostril size too. C'mon now...this movie ruined my prior illusion of her symmetry and the movie portions with her nostrils in it for me caused me to focus on her curious symmetry. See if I'm lying... The Agent Smith and Morpheus knock offs had nearly no charisma. Nothing to share becuz they lacked charisma. But it was nice seeing Keanu and Trinity again. They definitely had the only character chemistry and action sequences and thus for me were the only interesting part of the movie...ok wait I liked Doogie Howser too. I enjoyed Doogie Howser but whatevs... Should I have volunteered to write a back up side script to use? Idk just unexpectedly blah...I hope that the next John Wicke movie doesn't sadly suck...like the Matrix 4 did. I'm know I didn't get all the deets becuz I was so distracted with nostrils, eyes, hunches, knock off characters etc. But I'm not willing to go back to watch it again to figure it out. Here's what else I think, don't hate me for this but ...one Wachoski in movie making is and will never be as good as 2 working together. It was 1/2 dumb, 1/2 decent but nothing like or quite one or the other... The pluses and my recommendation is to save your $ and beat the Covid variant and Omicron by watching it at home on HBO. Still watch it ... but do it from home - do not risk your life or wear a KN95 for this in a crowded theater. You'll thank me l8r. Any day you see Neo and Trinity, it's good so I'm gonna give it 2 stars. Also, you won't miss anything if you leave to use the restroom or buy more snacks. 😷 That's fair right?

Omgoodness so bad. Marvel jumped the shark. Even with the star power I left the theater twice to get cheese refills for my nachos. The only funny and interesting characters were the 2 Indian dudes. All other characters were forgettable and overdone. It was slow at first and just remained...boring. So lucky I didn't buy the reclining seats for this one. Phew. Saved 4 bucks! Chaching. If you ask which was better Black Widow or Eternals...definitely Black Widow. If you ask which was better Batman vs Superman or Eternals...BvS for sure. If you ask which was better Aquaman or Eternals...definitely Aquaman... Just watch 007 or Dune (again) in Imax all alone with your closest buddies when everyone is crowded in a theater watching Eternals. Trust me save your 2.5 hours. It's laptop worthy only and I'm a huuuuge Marvel fan. Also, the forced DE&I is getting really old. This movie has a token everybody in it. Just ramrodded DE&I without thought, purpose or real relevance ...it becomes a distraction. I know I can write a better script. Filtering is key. Call me Marvel, seriously 😐 you need a fresh start and I doubt Harry Styles is gonna get you there. PS: I just told one of my teenagers, omg it was so dumb, can I sell back your tix for tomorrow?and she said oh yeah, couldn't you tell it'd be dumb from the trailer? Well...I never saw the trailer. Doh!! PSS: I never felt any connection to the characters except for the Indian dudes and btw suicide is never the answer. Can't get over how bad it was ... I keep coming back with thumbthrashing reviews add ons. PSS: Again can't get over the dumb storyline but got to admit that lead guy ikaris or whatever his dumb character name was... was pretty nice eye candy. Asian dude with cannon magic arms also likeable but ... eh I'll just watch Dr. Strange cuz he's a Wu wannabe or better yet just go see Shang Chi...which was an awesome Asian Marvel gem. What's the deal with the 10 rings knock off thing in this movie? This movie is disjointed, all over the place, and lacks clarity, continuity, a focused and interesting plot, character development, and its just confusing. Im not saying confusing like I don't understand, confusing at how dumb it is and how do they make this drag on knowing we are expecting a better movie after seeing the cinematic competence and beauty of Shang Chi. I don't mean to drag these writers but that was garbage and the Quality assurance team, writers, and editors should be counseled. In fact the characters are somewhat annoying. And who cares kinda feeling comes from watching them live or die....which isn't good. Idk why I have such strong feelings about this .... lol 😆 I never do reviews. I loathed this movie and am so thankful I had nachos to keep me entertained during this movie. I'd rather watch Venom again which was better. Also, I Dream of Jeannie on Pluto is better than this. PSSS: I can't get over the insult to Hobbits, leprechauns, and dwarves. Geezus. Also, 2 scenes early on are absolutely not child friendly, be cautious. I was surprised that these 2 scenes were in a "Disney" movie... PSSSS: Tony Stark couldn't save this flop. I can't believe people are giving this movie 5 stars. Are they high on cannabis. Seriously, I'm shocked at the rave reviews becuz they are screwing with you fans. You will be equally baffled and victimized after seeing this movie. God help you.
