Salt burn has stunning cinematography. It’s starts off quite interesting but as the film progresses it’s seems to have little plot. It’s almost as though it is scenes stuck together?
There is shock value for sure. Many scenes were I don’t know how else to say it, were cringy and in some cases I am not sure if they were really needed these scenes- value add? At any rate by the time you finally get to the end the film there are moments that are inconsistent with what was filmed/shown. What I mean is it’s almost like they tried to tie it together and show supporting scenes to the outcome and in some cases they were just not there as they followed some characters through they moments?
One final point. I found it odd that it’s kind of like this is what happened, no investigation by coroner, let alone any authority or insurance- they would be all over this considering the last character- I dont want to say too much as I might give it all away- Any way, Would it not be odd to have such an occurrence and at the end it was as if oh well, who cares? Just strange in my opinion and disjointed.
