Even though I heartily welcome the addition of new and diverse cast members, Miranda’s deterioration into such a bumbling mess is hard to take. This from a sophisticated partner at a NYC law firm makes absolutely no sense. And after the freak out on her part over Steve’s infidelity, she seems to possess zero empathy for his situation. And her career is jettisoned; her lovely silvers once again covered. Also, Samantha ghosting the whole team over Carrie not retaining her for PR does not sound like Samantha at all. And why did Carrie’s hip issue need to be a “birth defect?” Charlotte comes across as the most well-adjusted. I’m glad that at least one of the trio has been allowed to evolve with maturity and grace.
