The best Nicolas Cage film ever. Great performances by the entire cast and good writing. Pedro Pascal and Nicolas Cage on acid is a laugh out loud instant classic moment. Nothing original, innovative or artistic about this film just a good enjoyable movie. Worth your time 4.5 out of 5.

Feels fresh for the MCU. The cast is great, the story good.

A truly great feel good drama. Daisy Ridley gives a wonderful performance as does the rest of the cast. This film deserved more marketing and a wider theatrical release. The score is good but not great, the sets, lighting, sound design & costumes are all very good. If you enjoy stories of triumph and achievement watch this film.

Absolutely amazing! Every aspect of film making (writing, set/costume design, lighting, directing, acting etc.) Is executed flawlessly. The best Godzilla film ever made and one of the best films of this century so far.

Visually stunning. Shots are composed masterfully and color tone is spot on. If you have read the book I would not recommend this (or part 1) movie, if you have not read the book than see this 2 part movie. As a fan of Frank Herbert's works this movie seems to miss the point and nuances of the book. There are no thoughtful themes, ideology, or politics explored in this movie. Most of the cast delivers stale performances and there seems to be no chemistry between Z and T.C so we don't even get a ok love story. Good stuff includes set design, costume design, VFX, sound design (not the score), Florence Pugh, Josh Broiling and Oscar Issacs.

3.5 stars. A fun movie that is hurt by poor editing and generic antagonist. The vast majority of negitive reviews read as expected, whiny boys who don't like females. The plot is generic comic book, the antagonist generic, the effects good, the acting ok-great depending on character. This movie won't blow your mind but it is good fun.

Solid action movie. Nothing groundbreaking but it is entertaining throughout its runtime.

If you are a Master Chief fan you will probably hate the show. Halo and sci-fi fans will like or love it. Like the first season of every loved sci-fi series it trips a bit in every episode but doesn't fall.

A great graphic novel movie. The acting, cinematography, set design and sound are all strong. Watch this film if you are a fan of graphic novels.
