It's such a wonderfullly feminist show - which makes it all the more weird that the nanny, not NATHAN, gets the brunt of the blame for the daddy-nanny affair. He's a married older guy, just "put a baby" in his wife despite her reservations, so what the HELL?

Slow-build, gritty dramedy at its best. No wonder: Original book by great, undersung novelist. Richard Russo. The cast, a mix of charcter actors known and not well known, is really... fun. And funny. Work relations and family relations are so real, behind the humor and plot.
