The movie was understated and clever. The main character interviews and observes presentations by several DEI experts, including author Robin DiAngelo. It reminded me of Sasha Baron Cohen movies a bit, although the jokes take aim at experts and members of the privileged class as opposed to working class targets. A stinging indictment of this shady industry.

I have only watched a few episodes. But it is skillfully presented and there are many witnesses who offer convincing evidence that the Netflix series was dishonest. I don’t yet know enough about the case to have a strong opinion regarding Avery’s guilt or innocence. But I think it was useful to see that there is much more to the story than was presented to the public in the original narrative.

I believe this is an important film in the discussion of modern gender ideology. It consists of Matt Walsh posing a series of basic questions to a number of individuals who for professional, and likely ideological reasons, fully embrace modern gender ideology. It is worth hearing the answers they offer to these questions that I feel any rational person should ponder before accepting a new ideology. Any new way of conceptualizing our existence is worth considering from all angles. If we avoid listening to, and seriously considering, all perspectives, we are ripe for manipulation.
