I really wanted to dislike this show because of the excess gore, foul language, and completely unnecessary vulgarity that does seem a little gratuitous, and also makes it all seem like the entire thing is just a 13 or 14 year old boy's fantasy world. (Maybe that's why they titled it "The Boys" 🤷‍♀️) As well as the completely obvious Anti-Christianity smear campaign the very biased writers have going on that's more than a little dumb... However, there are so many moments that are undeniably hilarious, that it's actually been my saving grace on tough days 🤣 Favorite moment so far: The Deep's gill's singing "You are So Beautiful" to him. I just about died. This could very well be both Chace Crawford's and Karl Urban's best work yet... Unfortunately, it is Not Seth Rogen's best work. I just finished season 2, and I don't feel as though it was as entertaining as the first season; and the finale for season 2 was kind of awful as well. I may or may not feel inclined to watch a third season. They'll probably have to enlist some better writers. The actors are brilliant, but the dialogue is mostly garbage, aside from the few hilarious moments, mostly given to us by The Deep. We shall see though. As long as Seth Rogen stops smoking the "ganj" before writing (on twitter OR a script for that matter) LOL... We should be alright. I used to really be a BIG Seth Rogen fan. I don't know what happened to him. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Actually a bit saddened they didn't move forward with a second season... The show only began to actually get really good around episode 5 and then had me kind of gripped to the TV wanting to see what happens next, but it just ended up being a set up for a next season that never happened 🤷‍♀️ Hard to understand that decision.
