Ok first of all, I would like to say that both of the main leads are my favorite actor and actress especially Kim Young Dae.
I really like the concept of this drama, it's pretty eye opening especially to normal citizens like me who knows nothing on how things are behind the scene of certain agencies, and how professional PR team manager are when it comes to dealing with their artist's scandals. It's quite rare for dramas to portay this kind of storyline. As for the romance, it's an okay for me cause it's a bit cliche for a korean drama, and I'm not complaining at all.
However one main thing that spoils the whole concept for me was Young Dae's acting. Tbh, i don't think his way of acting fits this character and i feel like he's rushing to take the role as the male lead. His acting in penthouse and extraordinary you were fun to watch and not really that awkward but his acting in shooting stars omg, I can't even begin to explain how awkward and how it doesn't match certain scene. For example, this one scene he was apparently *startled* but his facial expression shows how forced his expression were and very very unnatural. And not to mention the scene where he was supposed to potray how traumatized he was but I can't feel like he's traumatized. I feel like he's being plain and boring. I'm sorry young dae, I'm your biggest fan, but your acting in this drama is just way too hurtful to watch 😔
Last but certainly not least, the directors and the script writer really need to educate themselves about Africa. Africa is a continent, not a country. I'm annoyed with the never ending stereotype of Africa as one whole country where the citizens live in extreme poverty.
