Being a lifelong fan of the show, I was so excited for the reboot. Overall I will say I think this was a good season and I do hope for another season in 2025 because I do think with the right tweaks, it will be a success. Speaking to many viewers, they loved the strategy and the challenges, it was a refreshing difference from other shows. Now I will say, yes some improvements, mainly on publicity and having more ads & pre-season showing for the season (Survivor US do a great job at that) and also scheduling, Survivor is good on a weekday and do it during the spring/summer, trying to make it compete straight away with already established shows seemed almost destined to underperform. I wanna finish by saying, I love Season and I do think overall the BBC did a good job with casting, & challenge & overall entertainment. Give it a 2nd season to really prove whether or not it can hold its own, every other show had that and we’ve seen constantly the 2nd season will prove itself!!!
