Kelly McDonald....same voice, same speech rhythms.....performer, but not an actress. There are many other good actors in this series. The pace is a bit ponderous. Episodes 1&2 have poor audio, slightly muffled. Perhaps subsequent episodes will improve, but I'm not holding my breath.

Dire. All that was missing "wer't flaat caps" and "eeh by gum". Appallingly predictable dialogue. Have given up on this unimaginative drivel.

Dreary. There's more to Ireland than this.

Zero stars, but I wasn't allowed to post without making a star selection. Not funny. Not exciting. No tension. In bad taste, given that there is so much genuine grief in the country.

A husky voiced main actor's feeble attempt at acting makes for boring viewing. Predictable dialogue does little to contribute to any intrigue. A six part very slow paced series that could have been delivered with some sense of tension on 3 episodes. Definitely a thumbs down.
