Being a long time fan of superheroes, I see the direction of this potential Indonesian movie. Unfortunately, I am appalled with the ratings and comments on some "rating portal". Yes, there were hiccups here and there - the plot, too much unnecessary scenes (although I think the CGI is superb). Great movies or TV series do not enjoy success overnight. They suffered the same fate during the early years - Ultraman, Power Rangers, Kamen Raider, Avengers and Justice League as well. Everyone wants a piece of them, mostly dissatisfied fans who wants to influence the movie to go "their way" But the fact they made it to Netflix, now that's something should be proud of. Despite I am a Malaysian, I'm really-really proud of this great effort whilst agreeing that there are much more improvements to be made. Why compare Satria Dewa Gatotkaca with the abovementioned legendary Superheroes? Quite unfair I think. Nobody said anything when Ultraman Ribut or Ultraman Tiga became part of the Ultraman Garrison? Did Tsuburaya ask for your views? What about Chaiyo's "Hanuman and 6 Ultra brothers"? Nobody seemed to complain when they decided to bring in Wonder Woman or Hawkman with links to the ancient myths. There are so many movies related to ancient Greek deities - did anyone have problems with that? So is Satria Dewa Gatotkaca. What if Satria Gatotkaca becomes part of the Avengers or Ultraman or Justice League? Possibly there will be less destructive criticisms. Thus I think it's unfair to set your mind of comparing Satria Dewa Gatotkaca to the bigger characters. Give the movie a chance. When Ultraman started its debut, no one foresee that there will be US-based Ultraman? I foresee that Satria Dewa Gatotkaca may become a TV Series in the future. Good job Satria Dewa Studio.
