Alana Pineo

The cast seems great in the interviews but the writing does them no justice. I've enjoyed a few small scenes or lines, which is why it gets a two, but most of it has been unfaithful to the book, devoid of tension, and overall boring. People are scared of talking about how it's not great because they get screamed at for not being the target audience, judging too quickly, racism, etc. It's not a great adaptation, and it'd be mediocre at best if the name "percy jackson" wasn't stamped on it. Many have said this, that I know personally and that I've read online. The show is boring, the characters are flat, and it's confusing to a lit of people. Both book readers and non book readers.
