The Creators of this movie have done a great job enlighting the audience not just about the toxicity of the environment but rather the toxicity of the society where they judge and underestimate the power of talents that lies within everyone. Murdering an aesthetic and talented personality and torturing them inside out through their whole life is a far worse fate than a toxic chemical death. Also, this movie brings out the pathos and burdens related to female sexuality in Sri Lanka.
Though these kinds of problems are revealed in a dramatic manner in the movie, that doesn't seem to be resolved, which may hint to the audience the endless loop of the tragedy of frustration revolves around the Sri Lankan mindset.
