A good movie to watch with your kids. The cast were well cast and the children actors were convincing and genuine. The set was authentic as were costumes and wardrobe. The storyline flowed well with some sad moments. The movie death with some real issues still prevalently today around race and class. Whilst set in middle wartime england. The movie musical scores were well scored to add emotion and drama. Overall a great movie for a sequel. I would watch again, perhaps with a tissue.

Really enjoyed this movie, great cinema photography, deals with issues that are so relevant even today even though set in era some 80 years ago. Bullying, bias, war, racism, socio-cultural stereotypes, life and death all from childs view point. Trying to understand this adult world. A moving and thought provoking film. Well acted and well scripted with fast scene changes...
