Oppenheimer recruited and motivated many of the worlds top minds to relocate their families to a remote desert 19th century style dirt-road town where they labored for two years and created the most fantastically terrible bomb and changed the face of history. What was special about Oppenheimer that made him the man that could achieve this amazing accomplishment? This movie gives you no clue to that intriguing question. How does a narcissistic federal bureaucrat railroad Oppenheimer after the war to settle his own self created vendetta? That’s the story you’ll see if you go to this movie. The acting was good, but the screenplay was disjointed jumping backwards and forwards over four decades. Some scenes were in color and some in black and white. If there was a formula for the color shifts, it was lost on me.
