was wondering why Angie Seth said this morning that the police involved in the Saanich bank shooting and shootout were RCMP, when in fact the police were from both the Saanich and Victoria Police Depts. Both depts had officers shot and wounded, not the RCMP. No wonder there is so much distrust of the news services in this country. Let the RCMP take the blame for the lack of cohesiveness in the Nova Scotia lone gunman/mass killings because of their incompetence, but do NOT give the RCMP credit for the decisive action taken by both the local police departments on Vancouver Island
