A classic, and one of my favorites robert b. Patterson wrote many story's of virgil cole and evertt. I wish more of movies of them were made. Great cast, great acting, it has a real western feel and a sense of what am I looking for evertt "humor" humor. It's great from start to sad finish.

I cut my horror teeth on this film at 6 an now at 28 with over 300 horror films, this is the only one I can't watch alone in the dark it terrifies me!! I love this movie for that ability and the 80's look of the picture just adds a creepiness to it. Great movie and it'd always be my favorite.

A good horror film with to many call backs (reading the cards ed1, elevator blood the shining, dead by dawn ed2, eye ball gag ed2, 3 books AOD, boom stick and chainsaw ed2, the boss at the end the thing, the hanging crosses the conjuring, etc) it fails to do anything on its own! The three books in army of darkness doesn't even matter 2 of the books in that movie were decoys. If you seen the red ban trailer you've seen the movie, the over hyped cheese grater scene lasted 2 seconds and was disappointing a long with off screen kills, I will watch it again it looks great but it's mid at best.

Halloween 2018 from the start disapointted me, the 4th one opens with Halloween pumpkins and signs, the first one says haddonfield with Orange and yellow leaves blowing around it feels like Halloween. This film had a pumpkin inflating which was to reference the first film. But that hospital yard just sucked and if Laurie and Michael aren't brother and sister Jamie Lee Curtis didn't have to be in this movie and Michael had no business going to her house!!!! Plot holes galore!!!
