I have loved 911 from the beginning on Fox. For me good mix of cheesy and drama, and personally felt great character development on the show. When I heard the show was moving from Fox to ABC, I was concerned about having different writers and what was going to happen with the show. Sadly my concerns were 100% dead on. I know others mentioned the character being gay, but it was the other actor kissing Buck and potential of going another way, but agree this is not in his character. The writers got all the characters wrong, first episode Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) and Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) interactions are completely off. (They are the type to not have to say I Love You, it's just known). I was more put off at the poor acting from the Bachelor scene in the beginning. I don't know if they are trying to hard or not, but there's a reason to NOT switch writers, or at least honor the previous writers... (Examples of moving Lucifer from public to streaming on Netflix, lots of changes and not always for the better. Also comparing to why Margarette Attwood hand picked the writers for Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale". The right writer for the show or continuation can make or break the show.) Tonight's show was the last.
