Corny, seems like someone watched all of the action films in the 1990s/1980s and really put them all together. Full of plot holes. How did the detective keep following through so many sections? How did he find out to follow the crow? Could he always see the past by touch and why did he use it only less than half the time? The audio is terrible, seems like something from 1994. They use vinyls like spotify doesn't exist. Does he just teleport? The visual action shots look like they were filmed 20 years ago. The classic driving montage happens, I'd suggest Indiana Jones if that's what you're looking for. Lastly, this movie is still untrue to the comic. Hopefully, if they come up with a rendition in the future that doesn't seem so far reaching for the times, I'd enjoy it.

NO SPOILERS: You can enjoy this film if you approach it without expecting a straight remake. I’ve already read through many negative reviews, searching for constructive criticism, but none really applied to the film that was actually made. The only minor issue I had was with the portrayal of the "dream" concept—it feels out of place considering the established parallel of heaven and hell. However, if you're focused on the story, this film does a fantastic job modernizing and delivering it. Overall, it stands as a great piece of storytelling.
