I really wanted to like this movie. I thought it was going somewhere until I couldn’t stand Donny saying he was so stupid shouldn’t have done this or that because he shouldn’t have, and the writers didn’t bring any redemption into the story offering help for people that may want to get out of something awful, I found myself saying yes Don you are very stupid and in the end so was the writing. The ending left me feeling hopeless and awful all to glorify the writer coming up with a clever twist. Clever didn’t work this time. Not for me.
