The movie was solid, especially for a sci-fi film. The take on the aliens was VERY unique and the characters weren’t stupid. The ending could’ve been a little more resolute but I’m sure it was because a sequel was expected. Like others I’m not sure why critics tore it apart. It was better than a lot of more popular sci-fi movies. I’d love to see a sequel one day. 8/10 would definitely recommend
