Painful. The black and white filter adds nothing to this film. Not even creative, artistic cinematography, because the cinematography looks like my 12 year old self shot on IMovie. The acting is painful, even for the lead actors who have done good acting in other films—but I don’t think it’s entirely their fault since the dialogue is old English in a modern setting. It’s very cringe, and the set design, costuming, lighting, etc is very poor. The only thing that is descent is the sound mixing. It’s sad, because I’m writing an essay, comparing the films of this story, and this one is laughable. I’m had to endure all nearly two hours to write nothing much but disappointment.
