Acting was good. Story line was 4/10 but my main issue with this movie is that it attempts to be an action movie. Almost like a Rambo style with an innocent person being accosted by corrupt local police force. There is a ton of build up and evil done in this long long movie, with no relief at the end. The hero of the plot never uses a firearm. It's the girliest action movie I've ever seen. No retribution at the end. I watched and became emotionally involved and endured, with no payoff at the end. Not saying it needed to end in a bloodbath but people aren't bullet-proof and there is 0 justice in this movie at the end.

Nothing about this show harkens to the narrative or ideals of J.R.R. Tolkien. It's just someone else's complete makeover that doesn't fit at all. Hoped season 2 would be better after the push back on the horrendous season 1 but it may even be worse. Should have just made a show and not pretended it had any semblance to Lord of the Rings or the Silmarillion etc. Maybe it would have made a decent show then.
