In a time of war, famine and instability, Doc Martin sends a message of hope, positivity and calm. Despite the challenges facing the UK and its neighbours, Doc Martin continues to serve as a figurehead and trailblazer’s of the UK’s global soft power. The picturesque fictional town of Portwenn is the perfect location the exciting comedy, drama and love affairs of Doc Martin. The series is directed and performed superbly, with only the best of talent featuring in this gripping TV drama. I don’t know who I would be today without the influence of Doc Martin.
