I can fully recommend this book by this new author .Helen Johns.it captures the frustration and challenges she and her sisters Aileen and Barbara face when their Mother "lovely Rita " , who is living with dementia, has the go into a care home.They strive tirelessly to maintain her independence and dignity.with some tender,moving moments.I hope the care homes and staff can engage more with families and improve their practices.
