After watching Martha's story about her uncle, I was brought to tears thinking about my Uncle Floyd Vaughn Hallmark who was KIA on March 1, 1945 along with two of the flag raisers @ Hill 362A. Michael Strank and Harlon Block. Cpl. Hallmark was awarded with a Silver Star for his efforts that day. I proudly carry his name as my own. Kenneth Floyd Clark.
