Good game, amazing atmosphere and story created through out the entire game. BUT! It reminded me to much of Playdead’s Inside. With the only controls being back, forward, jump, push, pull, turn, throw. There’s also the aspect of running away from strange unidentified creatures, and finding special hidden power sources, to get a special ending.
And I might be looking into this to much, but there was also the scene of the players character using the special fire source to ward off the flying creatures, kind of like the boy in Inside using the fire in the cave scene to ward off the dogs.
Now what I think about the game.
I know that indie games such as this don’t have the biggest budgets, but they could have put a little more puzzle into this game. This game leads you exactly where you need to go, and tells you exactly what you have to do with no questions asked. Yes there is that aspect of avoid and survive. But there’s no try and fail just to succeed the second time around. You can get it done the first time, and head straight to the next ‘challenge’
Im thinking to much about this, and I should stop🧍♀️Cause this makes no sense. Overall good game, love and appreciate the talent and time that went into the art. Difficulty of the game was mid. Ok thanks.
