So after walking in the theater with low expectations, I will say after watching this movie, I think it was a mixed bag for a fourth movie, it’s not as bad as most people saying it is, but is does have some problems, like the villains in this movie I didn’t really care for and I thought they were boring. I will say the some of the action scenes and the animation were great. The minions in this movie kind of did weird things that made my eyes roll and made me facepalm, also the story had too many subplots, and at this point this series just feels played out. I will say I loved the ending where gru and Maxine make peace and we see all villains from previous films dancing, and we see Dru and Marlena cameo, it was also nice to see Dr. Nefario unfrozen, all in all this was a mixed bag, I will say that this was better then minions 2015.
