I'm on my second season of Penny Dreadful, and I must admit, it is addicting ! The choice of charters and the setting and story are dead-on target. When you consider what the ruling authority was, and has been largely in place, the story rimes with history of 'Chavez Ravine' a small isolated event that causes me disappointment, deep disappointment in every way. And how many Germans, today not regret the actions of their forefathers ? My family had nothing to do with slavery, but as I appear, I must berden some of the blame. Penny Dreadful brings back a time in which our forefathers did not act in any, a responsible fashion. So I am Just sad am I. . . .
