So very Netflix. Most of the budget spent on the first two episodes after which the scriptwriters just got chat gbt to finish it. Actually it got funnier as time went on..and on and on. An armed gang of English robbers, three of whom were women?!?!?! A secret ops boss acting like he was in Neighbours and action scenes that got more and more preposterous. Our heroine shot and left for dead but strangely becoming best buddies with her attacker. Aaaagh this could have been so much better.

If the bbc wants to promote social engineering propaganda in their dramas why don’t they commission some new stories instead of rewriting history? Ripping the guts out of this classic tale is just lazy and insulting. What next? Treasure island with a black trans Tom the cabin boy and a misunderstood Long John Silver with a teddy bear instead of a parrot ? Oooops shouldn’t have given them that idea!
