The basic story line is good... I think a little more attention should be paid the the accuracy of the prop items used in the series... Use what would have been of the time period? String electric Christmas lights, vinyl diaper bags.... the items on the store shelves that are less than 20 years old?? Items that would be age appropriate can be picked up inexpensively. In some Hallmark movies, they use period accurate props... When Calls the Heart, ........not so much. As I have watched from the beginning... some of the characters have become very predictable, as are the story lines.

I haven't found any movie in the last decade that made me want to go to a theater.....BUT I WENT FOR THIS ONE!! I felt that I had to see it, even though I knew it would make me uncomfortable... We can no longer look away... as it is happening around us....
